Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ClearMind AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the app. These Terms should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.

Description of Service

ClearMind AI is a mobile application developed and operated by PureSoft Ltd. It provides AI-powered voice recording, transcription, and text processing tools, including:

  • Voice Recording & Transcription — Record audio and receive AI-generated transcriptions, processed on our self-built infrastructure.
  • Smart Summarization — Condense long texts into concise summaries.
  • Text Polish — Improve writing with AI-powered grammar and style suggestions.
  • Text Expansion — Expand brief notes into detailed, structured content.
  • Task Management — Organize tasks and to-dos, stored locally on your device.

Anonymous Use — No Account Required

ClearMind AI uses anonymous device-based identification. There is no email, password, or social login required. A random device identifier (UUID) is generated at first launch and stored securely in your iOS Keychain. This anonymous identifier is used to authenticate your requests and manage usage quotas. No personal profile is stored on our servers.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use ClearMind AI. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian's consent to use the app. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Free Tier

ClearMind AI offers a free tier with the following limitations:

  • 3 voice recordings per day
  • 5 text tool uses per day (Summarize, Polish, Expand combined)
  • On-device transcription (for supported locales) with fallback to server transcription
  • Basic transcription quality
  • Text-only export
  • Ad-supported: The free tier is supported by optional rewarded advertisements served via Google AdMob. You may view rewarded ads (up to 3 per day) to earn additional usage quota. Ads are voluntary — you are never required to watch an ad to use core features.

Pro Subscription

The Pro subscription unlocks unlimited access to all features:

  • Unlimited voice recordings (up to 1 hour per recording)
  • Server-side transcription for higher accuracy and longer recordings
  • Priority transcription quality
  • Unlimited Summarize, Polish, and Expand usage
  • PDF and DOCX export formats
  • No advertisements: Premium subscribers do not see any ads and are not shown any App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission requests.
  • Monthly Plan: $19.99/month
  • Yearly Plan: $149.99/year

Free Trial

ClearMind AI may offer a free trial of the Pro subscription for eligible users. At the end of the free trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the selected plan rate unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends (for App Store purchases) or before the billing cycle begins (for website purchases). You can cancel your App Store free trial through your Apple ID subscription settings.

Subscription & Billing

Pro subscriptions are managed via the Apple App Store using Apple's StoreKit payment framework. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

  • App Store Purchases: Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies.
  • No refunds will be provided for the unused portion of a subscription term, except where required by law or specified by Apple's refund policy.
  • Subscription pricing is displayed at the time of purchase and may be subject to change upon renewal with prior notice.

Advertising & Ad-Supported Free Tier

The free tier of ClearMind AI is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. By using the free tier, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Ad-supported model: Free users may see optional rewarded advertisements. Watching a rewarded ad (up to 3 per day) grants additional usage quota.
  • Ad removal: Upgrading to a Premium (Pro) subscription permanently removes all advertisements for the duration of the subscription.
  • Ad content disclaimer: PureSoft Ltd does not control the content of advertisements displayed by Google AdMob. Ad content is determined solely by Google based on contextual and, where permitted, personalized signals. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any advertised third parties.
  • App Tracking Transparency (ATT): Free-tier users will be asked for ATT permission to enable personalized ads. Granting permission is optional — non-personalized ads are shown if you deny. Premium users are never shown the ATT prompt.

Intellectual Property

ClearMind AI and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PureSoft Ltd and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app without our prior written permission.

User Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, record, or input into ClearMind AI. Your audio recordings and text inputs are processed solely to provide the requested service on our self-built infrastructure. Content is not stored on our servers after processing is complete, and no data is shared with third-party AI providers. For more details on how we handle your data, please see our Privacy Policy.

Local Data & Deletion

Your recordings, tasks, and notes are stored locally on your device. You can:

  • Use "Delete My Data" in the app to clear all local data (recordings, tasks, audio files).
  • Configure auto-deletion periods for recordings and tasks independently (7, 14, 30, 60, 90 days, or never).
  • Contact us to request deletion of server-side anonymous usage counter data.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ClearMind AI for any unlawful or prohibited purpose, including but not limited to:

  • Recording conversations without the consent of all parties where required by law.
  • Generating, processing, or distributing content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
  • Interfering with or disrupting the app's servers or infrastructure.
  • Circumventing usage quotas or anti-abuse mechanisms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

ClearMind AI is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. PureSoft Ltd makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the app's reliability, accuracy of transcriptions, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall PureSoft Ltd, its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to ClearMind AI at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the app will immediately cease. You may also terminate your use of the app at any time by uninstalling it from your device and canceling any active subscriptions.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America and the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in California, USA.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
